sledding

Last weekend Joaquin and I went to Mom and Dad's for church and afterwords did a little "sledding."  Joaquin loved playing outside and didn't want to come in.  We didn't have a sled so Dad pulled Joaquin around in his swing.  Joaquin was so relaxed he almost fell asleep!

Visit with Emma, Julia and Samara

This weekend we visited with some friends of mine and their daughters.  Here are some pics of the kids playing together.  Emma and Samara are 2 1/2 and Julia is 10 months old.

Happy New Year!

Joaquin has finally decided he likes wearing his hat, and wanted to wear it in the house before bed the other night.  I think he had it on for an hour or so before we put him to bed.

Joaquin loves grandma's snow globe with baby Jesus and an angel.  He now says something resembling "baby Jesus."

Still learning how to use a spoon.  There wasn't any food on it, but at least this time the right end of the spoon made it into his mouth.
